HG Cast

Just a sneak preview (quick sketches) of some of the characters from the Hunger Games I will be drawing in the future. I know that the new trailer has been released for a bit but I drew these before so let's compare!

Katniss: Pretty straightforward design, I like who they've got for the movie.
Cinna: Who I think was Cinna looked really cool. But mine has lots more hair than him. >w<
Peeta: The guy in the movie has a really interesting face. o-o My design actually looks a lot like him, although it's another straightforward idea.
Gale: He's cute, a bit more light than what I imagined.
Beetee: In the book they say he wears glasses but from the beginning I pictured him with goggles.
Haymitch: My favourite character, I saw him as ruggedly hansom. I really like what I've seen of him so far.
Effie: I sooooo wanted her to be adorable because she is just the cutest thing so I was a bit unsettled by her movie character but I think she works.
Prim: I never saw Prim as being completely dependent, but more that she was forced into dependence by her sister. To me she can stand on her own.
Rue: She is so adorable on screen! *^*
Finnick: Looks nothing like his actual description. For some reason I always saw him with streaks...
Annie: I drew her less rattled then she really is.. O-o
Johanna: Boy do I love her, she's such a punk.

I didn't draw him here but the movie's Caesar Flickerman looked PERFECT.
